The Folkorist’s Tarot explores tarot’s relationship with mythology and and storytelling, arranging the face cards, or Major Arcana, as “The Fool’s Journey”, an epic storyline starring The Fool, on their journey to enlightenment. Along the way, The Fool meets The Major Arcana as a variety of creatures who shape their identity and leave them forever transformed. The Deck showcases costuming elements and rich ornament to create an immersive theatrical world.
